PADI Specialty Course

NITROX / Enriched Air Diver Course (½ day)

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air Nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

Here at Cyprus Diving Adventure we love the benefits of using NITROX and would like to share these benefits with you. A such, we are happy to offer this NITROX Speciality for only €85 with any dive trip or course . Contact us for further information about diving in Cyprus.

Wreck Diver (2 Day Course)

Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying something others have missed. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices. It also offers you an opportunity to dive the Zenobia wreck if you have your Nitrox certificate.

If you’re at least 15 years old and have earned a PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher, you can enrol in the Wreck Diver Specialty course. See our costs here

Self Reliant Diver (2 days)

From your Open Water Course, you will have learned the importance of diving with a buddy. Although this is the norm there is still value for experienced divers to develop Self Reliant Diver techniques and mindset. Having the aptitude to undertake solo dives will also help you prevent and correctly respond to dive situations whilst diving in groups or as a professional.

With proper training, equipment and the right attitude to accept the risks involved in independent diving, an experience diver can responsibly engage in dives without a buddy. Self Reliant diving is an adventure activity that is not for everyone, but does have its place. If you have the mental discipline and commitment to learn and follow self-reliant diving techniques, you’ll bolster your skills and confidence when diving alone, in a dive pair or as part of a team.
